The Vision of the Teotia Foundation
The Teotia Foundation Scholarship stands as a beacon of opportunity for students from rural India, ensuring that financial barriers do not limit their potential. Founded by individuals who were born, raised, and educated in villages, this initiative is deeply personal—reflecting their own journey of perseverance, ambition, and growth.
The founders of the Teotia Foundation—professionals with extensive leadership experience in PwC, Intel, WMTC, and other global organizations—have seen firsthand how education can transform lives. Despite their successful careers in the corporate world, they remain deeply connected to their roots and committed to giving back to the communities that shaped them. Their lived experiences have reinforced their belief that talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not—and it is this gap they seek to bridge.
With a steadfast commitment to supporting exceptional students from rural backgrounds, the scholarship focuses on those pursuing engineering degrees, helping them access the education they need to build meaningful careers. It is more than just financial aid; it is a promise—a promise to invest in young minds, nurture future innovators, and create a ripple effect of positive change in communities that need it the most.
We are deeply grateful to the Teotia Foundation for their generous vision and their commitment to shaping a more equitable future through education.

Scholar Sparks

One of our earliest convictions while researching the creation of Impactis was that students need a friendly network of cheerleaders, guides and mentors in addition to addressing the increasing cost of education through personalised scholarships.
We’ve been building forums and opportunities for scholars, scholarship-givers and volunteers to interact with each other to discover ways to support the success of scholars by playing the role of guides, mentors and cheerleaders.
That’s why it was a special moment of pleasure to see Santosh Otageri, a third year student at NIT Surathkal and a recipient of Teotia Grant on Impactis, accepting a summer internship at Tata Steel for later this year.
The creation of this opportunity is the result of his dedication and competence along with the generous and wonderful support of Mr. Syed Rizvi – Managing Director at Accenture, US, who spent time with Santosh in a guidance session discovering his interests and helping him prepare for an internship opportunity that he helped introduce.
At the outset, Syed is a skilful and brilliant mentor, not only to Santosh, but also to the Impactis team. The fact that we were able to connect someone of Syed’s experience, networks and worldview to Santosh through our program was personally gratifying for me and one of the reasons that makes it so endearing to work at Impactis.
Santosh and Syed’s story is one more example of how Impactis scholarship programs can further the success of more students by believing in our collective ability to pay forward and help each other. Join me in congratulating Santosh and thanking Syed.

Empowering Futures with Salesforce: A Partnership for Change
At Impactis, we believe that the true power of scholarships lies not only in financial aid but in the opportunities they create for growth and transformation. Our collaboration with Salesforce has been a powerful catalyst in turning this vision into reality, and we are deeply inspired by the impact we’ve witnessed so far.
In the past six months, we’ve had the honor of working with over 300 Salesforce volunteers who have helped evaluate students for scholarship matching, fund scholarships, and offer mentorship to students from underserved backgrounds. Their commitment has been pivotal in shaping brighter futures for these students.
One of the most exciting milestones we’ve reached through this partnership is the incredible generosity of Salesforce employees, who raised ₹14,88,200 for the Bhumi-Impactis Scholarship using the Salesforce Co-Funding Campaign! This remarkable amount will benefit nearly 20 engineering students from rural India, enabling them to pursue higher education and build impactful careers.
The campaign was met with overwhelming support, with more than 290 Salesforce employees choosing to contribute. Thanks to their efforts, this initiative has become one of the top 5 causes supported by Salesforce employees—an inspiring testament to the power of collective action.
It’s not just about the funds; it’s about the people behind the effort. The time, energy, and passion that Salesforce volunteers have poured into this cause have been invaluable. Through personalized scholarship matching, mentorship, and feedback, they’ve helped guide over 119 students toward a brighter future.
Special thanks to Pratibha Sharma, Salesforce Engagement Lead, for her outstanding leadership and coordination. Her unwavering dedication has been central to the success of this campaign.
As we move into 2025, we are excited about the opportunities ahead. The impact of this collaboration is just the beginning. With each scholarship awarded, each student supported, and each volunteer involved, we are creating pathways to success for India’s brightest young minds.
Thank you to Salesforce, its employees, and volunteers for making this journey possible. Together, we will continue to empower students, amplify opportunities, and create lasting change.

Big Win for Impactis at the 3rd CSR & Sustainability Summit
We are thrilled to announce that Impactis has been awarded the Best Startup Supporting Employee Philanthropy at the 3rd CSR & Sustainability Summit in Mumbai. This recognition highlights our mission to empower corporate professionals to use their expertise to create real, meaningful change for students through scholarships.
Representing Impactis at the event, Rasika and Daniel showcased the dedication and passion that have been key to our success. Their hard work and commitment are central to the growth of this initiative.
Our innovative online volunteering model allows employees to engage in a range of impactful activities—from selecting deserving students for scholarships to creating personalized funds or participating in company co-matching. This flexible model has proven to be a powerful way to enhance employee engagement, giving them a meaningful and fulfilling volunteer experience while providing students with personalized mentorship and valuable guidance.
The results of this initiative have been significant. Corporate partners have seen a noticeable increase in volunteering hours, and employees have expressed deep appreciation for the personal impact and fulfillment of their involvement.
