Founded by Mr. Syed Rizvi, Managing Director at Accenture, in partnership with the Youth Dreamers Foundation, the scholarship targets academically bright yet financially constrained students enrolled in NIRF-ranked institutions.
Open to Indian Muslim girls, beyond financial aid, the scholarship also offers mentorship and community support, enabling recipients to thrive in competitive technical fields.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Syed Rizvi for his vision, generosity, and commitment to empowering the next generation of women in STEM. His leadership has created real pathways to success and is inspiring change where it’s needed most.
Applications are currently open, with a deadline of July 31. Interested students can apply through the Impactis website.

Breaking Barriers: Ayesha’s Journey in Engineering
In a society where girls were expected to pursue biology, arts, or settle into roles as teachers and nurses, engineering was rarely seen as a space for them—especially not for someone like Ayesha. Her ambition was often met with skepticism and dismissive remarks like, “There’s no future for a girl like her in this field.”
But Ayesha chose a different path.
After completing her 10th grade, she cleared the entrance exam and secured admission to the Diploma in Engineering program at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)—a bold step into a space where she knew she would have to constantly prove herself. Her journey was marked by challenges—discouraging comments, isolation, and doubt—but she held firmly to her faith, her determination, and the quiet strength of her supportive parents, mentors, and a few kind peers.
She didn’t just endure—she excelled. Ayesha emerged as the topper of her Diploma class, which earned her direct admission into the B.Tech program at AMU. Throughout B.Tech, she continued to shine—consistently ranking among the top students, and winning multiple technical competitions and innovation challenges, all without the aid of formal coaching.
Her commitment and resilience paid off in a remarkable way—she secured an All India Rank of 1551 in the GATE exam. This opened the doors to multiple prestigious opportunities, including:
- M.Tech Research at IISc Bangalore in Signal and Biomedical Processing
- PhD at IIT Delhi in Integrated Electronics and Circuits
- PhD at IIIT Delhi
- A fully funded PhD offer from KFUPM, Saudi Arabia, one of the top 150 global universities
- A Design Engineer role at Zia Semiconductor, entering the core VLSI industry
Each of these milestones is a powerful testament to Ayesha’s unwavering belief in herself. Her journey stands as a reminder that with faith, perseverance, and courage, even the most deeply rooted barriers—both visible and invisible—can be overcome.

Some experiences leave a lasting mark — like this one shared by a partner who led their team through our virtual volunteering initiative:
It was a rewarding experience coordinating the virtual volunteering activity with Impactis. Our volunteers had the opportunity to evaluate student profiles through the Impactis portal, reviewing short videos shared by the students and understanding their personal stories, challenges, and strong desire to pursue education despite hardships. This process gave us insight into their potential and resilience. I’m truly proud that 182 of our volunteers participated virtually and helped complete over 8000 evaluations across regions. This initiative not only empowered the students but also left a lasting impact on our volunteers, many of whom shared how meaningful the experience was. Grateful to Impactis for creating this platform, and we look forward to collaborating on more such impactful initiatives.
Thanks & Regards,
